Enjoyed the website with all the links to Big6 ideas. It's always so fun to get new ideas off the internet even though it can be overwhelming.

Fun to learn some new ideas with Publisher!

Sometimes I feel like we are doing some good things in the classroom. I know we need to continue to learn more ideas. Thanks for all the ideas.

I appreciated the time to work on our projects. It's great for
Julie and I to get a chance to work. De.licio.us ( sp) was great fun. I need some time to sit at the computer. There is so much out there.

Powerpoints--synthesis

I really like the idea of giving the kids time to make a fun powerpoint. Give them chance to fool around and play with all the bells and whistles before they do their final product.
It was great to have the time to fool around with powerpoint.

Session 8

Connie and Steve and classmates,
Really liked the time at the beginning to work on our projects. Julie and I got a chance to collaborate about our travel brochures. We were able to discuss and work out some details.
It was great to work together.

Working on our powerpoints was great fun. Even though I continue to make some mistakes it is a great program to use.

Session 7

Really liked trying out the highlighting and notetaking.
Kidsclick had some great websites and I look forward to trying it on the planets.

The bubbl.us looks like it could be very useful for our students.

Session 7

I like thinking about websites and how it is so easy to make a fake website. I also like the idea of giving students an evaluation form to look at websites.

Definitely giving me something to think about with wikipedia..I really need to use it as a resource to see what is out there.

Session 5

Tonight I really enjoyed working on the wiki. It was definitely much easier than I thought it would be. Searching on the internet and trying nesting and boolean made us think about how to narrow our search.
Looking forward to trying to think of a way to use wiki's with 6th graders. Very impressed with Jay's work!!!
